IPASIS - IP Reputation and Risk Intelligence API

Our Story

IPASIS started with a frustration shared by thousands of developers: “Why is IP intelligence so opaque?”

While working with complex systems that required geolocation, fraud detection, and abuse prevention, Rahul repeatedly saw the same problems:

  • IP reputation datasets were outdated
  • Some vendors updated weekly or even monthly
  • Many didn't disclose their data sources
  • Several APIs were extremely expensive
  • "Anonymous Proxy" or "Hosting" flags were often inconsistent
  • No vendor provided real transparency into scoring

The insight was clear: developers needed faster, cleaner, more transparent IP intelligence.

Guiding Principles

  1. Transparency by Design — Users deserve to know how scores are derived. Our documentation explains data sources, feed update intervals, and detection logic.
  2. Built for Scale — The core architecture is designed around rapid ingestion, normalization, and scoring of large datasets. This ensures our data is fresh.
  3. Developer-Centric — Simple REST APIs, clear docs, honest limits, and fair pricing.

Where We Are Today

IPASIS has grown into a multi-source IP intelligence engine with:

  • Real-time feed ingestion
  • Robust reputation scoring
  • VPN / proxy detection
  • Hosting & cloud range classification
  • Abuse feed consolidation
  • A scalable cloud-native backend

And we are just getting started.
